Bahia De Los Angeles was a destination I'd been planning for at least 5 years. My granddaughter Jamael was to start medical school this fall (2004) so July was only time we could do it. In Catavina we stopped at the Lady of Guadalupe Traveler's shrine and had dinner at Rancho Santa Inez. |

We soon found out that July was the wrong time of year to go. The weather wasn't bad at all until we began the descent to the bay the weather became unbearably hot and humid. We got in around 9 pm so we missed that view of the bay that everyone talks about. We stayed at the Villa Vita. The next day we prepared to take a guided fishing tour of the islands but lucky for us the boat broke down because it was so hot we just wanted to get the hell out of there. |

After breakfast we visted the Museo de Naturaleza y Cultura and went looking for the sea turtle conservation and research station. |

On the way home we visited El Marmol. The cemetary is a lonely place but someone had recently placed flowers on one of the graves. |
