In 1988 John Gamboa and I rafted the Usumacinta River, in the Lacandon Forest in Chiapas, Mexico.     We stayed at the Hotel Maya Tulipanes in Palenque. While there we took side trips to the Misol-Ha Falls, right, where scenes of Predator were shot and the Palenque Maya Ruins.    Below first row-El Palacio, Templo Del Sol.
